Welcome to the Amethyst Place Volunteer Portal! Below you will find an orientation video, the forms to sign up for your volunteer shifts, and other information to help you learn about volunteering at Amethyst Place.

Important Note – this site is ONLY for volunteers who have already signed up through the Amethyst Place website. If you have NOT gone through that process, or someone you know wants to volunteer, you MUST start here to sign up: amethystplace.org/volunteer/

Sign up for your shifts!

Below, you will find two different forms to sign up for volunteer shifts. The first form is for volunteer opportunities within our Supportive Housing Program (apartment setup, donations sorting, etc.). The second form is for childcare volunteer opportunities. To sign up for childcare shifts, you must have completed our Sterling Volunteers background check process. SUPPORTIVE HOUSING Volunteer Shift Sign-Up

Help create homes for new families coming to Amethyst Place! By sorting donations, organizing the furniture garage, and setting up apartments, you will help us establish the perfect home environment for Amethyst Place families.

Apartment Setup

Help us make each apartment feel like home for a new family moving into Amethyst Place. Tasks include moving furniture, setting up and decorating rooms, stocking the kitchen, and other tasks as needed. Please note this can be a physically demanding task, including heavy lifting, climbing stairs, etc., although we can make modifications as needed.

CHILDCARE Volunteer Shift Sign-Up

While parents learn, we provide programs and care for their kiddos. Little hands require more supervision, and little bodies are often FULL of energy – can you help us keep kids entertained and playing safely? An AP staff member is always present while you share your time with them. We’ll be outdoors if weather/sunlight permit or indoors in our childcare area. Children will range in age from infants to about 10 years old.
